We learn that the game has magically made Hotaru useless. Right when we could have used the Sailor of Destruction. In THEORY she gets better later, but I've never really had her do things that Rei couldn't already do with a Red Pupil or two. Plus I mean c'mon, it's Rei in question here. Right guys? Don't take my commentary wrong, Hotaru is a great scout and character and everything, but this game just hammers her with the nerf bat HARD to the point of near uselessness. Most of the time she sits in the back row and hopes nothing looks at her. The best use I've found is multi-target heal link techs. Oh yeah, and we get a plot dump and learn about Link-Techs. I know the techs aren't particularly interesting but bear with me. We roll out most of them now, and the rest next video, and then we'll never have to fiddle with it again.
